My love of western art began with a Remington bronze many years ago. While I had never lived the western lifestyle, my appreciation for western artwork grew with each new discovery.
Having vacationed in Montana for several years and being exposed to the mountains and pack trips, I knew I wanted to live in Red Lodge. Each time I visited Common Ground I would yearn for the oils of Brent Flory, in particular a painting titled, “Almost Home." I sealed my fate when I purchased Brent's “Final Crossing.” My love of the western lifestyle and appreciation of western art lends to great enjoyment of my daily surroundings. I am overwhelmed at the number of talented artists in Red Lodge and the surrounding area. I am extremely honored to represent a great group of wonderful artists in Common Ground Western Art & Gifts.

"To walk into this fine art gallery on Broadway of Red Lodge, Montana is like walking into the great room of a Ponderosa ranch home, warmed equally by a massive rock fireplace and the genuine western hospitality of days gone by. Common Ground Western Art and Gifts is filled with items that capture the very essence of Montana. Common Ground . . . for the uncommon".
